site-specific work is an indefinite variety of ongoing states, events, and processes. Only a shift in visible light reveals an incessant flux, in which one perceptual event cannot be distinguished from another, and yet, where nothing is one and the same. Notions of death relate to a state of impermanence and transience that prevails in everything everywhere at every time but eludes control and falls beyond immediate human perception.
